Solution Answer:-

First of all , we should clean boot our computer in this situation. I am going to show you step by step process for the same.

1– Clean boot your Computer
2- Reinstall Microsoft edge using Powershell
3- Especially relevant, Disable Rapport’s Early Browser Protection

Step 1: Clean boot your Computer

1) On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key and R at the same time, type msconfig and press Enter.


2) Go to Services tab, check the box for Hide all Microsoft services. Also Click the Disable all button.


3) Also click on the startup which is the next right tab to the services , and disable the startup programs as well and the click on apply

4) Now restart / Reboot your computer.

5) If Edge still opens and closes unexpectedly in a seconds, Move towards the next step


Step 2: Reinstall through Power-Shell

1-   First of all , press the Windows key and S at the same time (on keyboard), then

type powershell. Right-click Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.

It will prompt for the permission click yes to proceed

2) In the PowerShell window, copy and paste in the following command:

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage
 -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

3) Wait for the process to complete and restart the computer. Now check the Microsoft Edge


Step 3: Disable Rapport’s Early Browser Protection

If you are using Trustee Rapport disable it then run edge if it works do this:

To disable Rapport’s Early Browser Protection:
1. Open Rapport’s Console by choosing – Start Menu > Programs > Trusteer Endpoint Protection > Trusteer Endpoint Protection Console
2. Advance to the next page by clicking on the green arrow at the bottom-right.
3. Under ‘Security Policy’ at the top left corner, click on ‘Edit Policy’.
4. Enter the letters as they are shown in the image and click OK.
5. Locate ‘Early Browser Protection’ and select ‘Never’ in the drop-down menu.
6. Click ‘Save’ and reboot your computer.
7. Finally , check if the issue is resolved.

Almost all type of Microsoft Edge problem can be resolved through these steps.
